The Historical Society of Pomona Valley, Inc. has utilized the services of T. Perry and Sons Construction for a number of restoration projects during the past four years. Perry and Sons were a part of a team who restored the Barbara Greenwood Kindergarten including the shingled roof and shingled siding. The 1908 building looks beautiful and very original. T. Perry and Sons also put a new roof on the garage and the three bedroom resident cottage on the property site of La Casa Primera.

In 2007 they removed and replaced the shingled roof on the Adobe de Palomares, the Blacksmith shop and the other outbuilding on the property. They were very respectful of the grounds and the interior of the property. The Society is very pleased with the roof and with the quality of their workmanship and the attention to historical details.

In 2008 T. Perry and Sons did the kitchen, bathroom, and the office area of the Phillips Mansion. The Society was so pleased with their workmanship that we retained their services to make the repairs necessary as a result of the July 2008 earthquake and to finish all of the remaining floors on the first story of the Mansion. T. Perry and Sons were the lowest responsible bidder on all of the afore mentioned projects. With respect to the roof for the Adobe de Palomares their bid was one half of the next lowest bid. The Society also utilized their services to repair some damages to the walls of the auditorium and to re-plaster the bride's room in 2008.

Thus far in 2009, the Historical Society has utilized their services to replace the commercial ceiling in the Ebell Building and to make necessary repairs on the south side of the roof. They removed the entire ceiling and put in a new ceiling including replacing all of the lighting. The kitchen looks much nicer and much cleaner without the conduits running across the ceiling and wires hanging down.

We have been very pleased with the quality of the work done by T. Perry and Sons. We have also been very impressed with their integrity and responsiveness. The Society generally has a very close window in which to have the work completed. Perry and Sons has met the goals of the Society on every project. It is also most important that the Society be able to trust the contractors with our priceless furniture, paintings, photographs, and other artifacts. We have found T. Perry and Sons to be very trust worthy.
